YouTuber Addon Update: Version 0.5.0 - The New Era Update

The YouTuber Addon 0.5.0 is out now! This release brings major changes across Scripts, Entities, Items, and much more. Welcome to the New Generation of YouTubers—the New Era of the YouTuber Addon. We’re now closer than ever to the final release, which will launch once we’ve transferred all remaining content from the Original Mod (YouTuber+¹) to this Addon.
Scripts
We've updated our Scripts and Script UI to the latest version, now with Redstone capabilities. We’re also optimising Class files for Blocks to boost performance, keeping the addon lightweight while maintaining full functionality. Although the Scripts UI remains mostly unchanged, we’re refining how we manage YouTubers in the Helper.
Entities
We’ve added 35 new YouTubers! Each new entity comes with a custom spawn egg design, and some even feature 3D eggs. We’re introducing the "More Bends²" model, currently available with TheDiamondBlue1 and TheDarkDiamond6 entities. This model adds realistic elbow and knee joints, bringing characters to life with improved animations. Custom animations now include Walk, Idle, and Riding Arms, with more planned for future updates.
Items
This update doesn’t heavily focus on items, but we’ve implemented a way for Spawn Eggs to resemble the Original Spawn Egg without individual images—special thanks to Ciosciaa from the Bedrock Add-Ons Discord Server³ for discovering this method! Additional items from the Original Mod, like Gems, Advanced Ender Pearls, Ender Dust, Super Diamond, Fake Emerald, and the Atlantian Sword (which currently has rendering issues), have also been added. Plus, two new structures—Markiplier’s Drunk Minecraft House and Jen’s House—are now available.
Blocks
While block updates are minimal, we’ve introduced Gem Ores, which yield Clear Gems for crafting. YouTubium Ore now drops 0–3 XP orbs upon mining, similar to coal. We’ve also re-enabled Redstone functionality for the Redwood Door and Redwood Trapdoor.
