Cotton Bush Update: Version 1.4.0

We are excited to announce the release of Cotton Bush version 1.4.0, featuring several significant changes and improvements.

• Holiday Creator Features Transition: The addon has been updated to remove dependency on Holiday Creator Features and now only requires the Beta APIs. Block events have been replaced with scripts, thanks to contributions from Edds on Discord. The Cotton Bush will grow over time and has two collection stages. You can also use bonemeal to accelerate its growth.

• Item Updates: All items have been updated from version 1.16.100 to 1.20.80. This transition ensures that the items are now stable and no longer experimental. The Cotton Armor has been revised to use the new format and can now be repaired.

• Recipe Updates: Recipes have been revamped so that they unlock when you collect the correct items, aligning the addon more closely with gameplay mechanics. Additionally, the loot table has been updated: you can now find Cotton, Cotton Seeds, and Cotton Bundles in the farmer’s house within a plains village, offering a new way to obtain cotton in your world. We plan to introduce natural generation for cotton in future updates.
